Description:
(3R)-(+)-3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine is a modulator of the histamine receptor. This drug has been shown to bind to and modulate the function of histamine receptors. (3R)-(+)-3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine has been shown to be an antagonist of the H1 receptor, but an agonist at the H2 receptor. This drug also has a high affinity for the H4 receptor, which is involved in allergic responses. (3R)-(+)-3-(Methylamino)pyrrolidine may be useful as a lead compound for the treatment of human diseases that are caused by or associated with histamine release such as asthma, allergies, and inflammation.
