    Description:4,4'-Methylenebis(2-methylcyclohexylamine) is a reactive chemical that is used in the production of polyurethane plastics and elastomers. It is also a major component of some thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs). This chemical has been shown to be toxic to the gastrocnemius muscle and other tissues. The high resistance of this chemical is due to its phenoxy, alkanolamine, amide, primary amino groups and its hydroxyl group. 4,4'-Methylenebis(2-methylcyclohexylamine) has an optical property that changes with temperature. Symptoms of exposure include irritation of the skin, eyes, nose and throat; headache; dizziness; nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; fatigue; difficulty breathing or swallowing; chest pain; confusion; convulsions or coma.
