2-Methyl-4'-(methylthio)-2-morpholinopropiophenone is a metal chelate that can be injected as an injection solution. It has an optimum concentration of 0.1 mM. 2-Methyl-4'-(methylthio)-2-morpholinopropiophenone is a fluorescence probe that produces a fluorescent signal when it binds to hydroxyl groups in the presence of radiation. This probe has been used for process optimization in synthetic cannabinoids and for detection of diabetic neuropathy by measuring the fluorescence intensity following laser irradiation. The basic structure of this compound is similar to that of many synthetic cannabinoids, which are based on the structure of THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. The polarizer and radiation are used to measure the fluorescence intensity, while cationic polymerization allows for multi-walled carbon nanotubes to be produced from fatty acids and analytical methods are used to identify this compound's molecular formula.
