Description

7-Methoxyflavone is a monoclonal antibody (mAb) that inhibits the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) and calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII). It also inhibits the synthesis of hydrochloric acid in human liver cells. 7-Methoxyflavone has been shown to have high resistance against hydrolysis by hydroxyl groups, methoxy groups, and antinociceptive activity. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and coumarin derivatives may be used to produce 7-methoxyflavone. 7-Methoxyflavone is also known to inhibit intracellular calcium levels in C2C12 myotubes, which may result in muscle growth.
