Description:
2-(4-Methoxyphenoxy)ethanol is a carboxylic acid. It has been used as a hydrogen peroxide donor in catalytic reactions, and as an ethylene glycol ether in the production of polyester resins. 2-(4-Methoxyphenoxy)ethanol has been shown to be useful in multilayer coatings with optimal reaction rates, and is a good oxidant for many organic compounds.
