Description:
mPEG9-OH is a substrate film that is used to measure the water vapor permeability of polymers. It has been shown to be a suitable polymerization initiator for organic solvents and phosphorous acid. The molecule is also used as a dose group in toxicity studies, showing minimal toxicity in animals. mPEG9-OH has been shown to have minimal toxicity in lab animals and fluorescent light, as well as having functional groups that are inert to voltage-gated Na+ channels.
