Description:

3-Nitrophenyl isocyanate is an organic acid that can be synthesized. It reacts with metal hydroxides to form a salt, and with chloride to form an acid chloride. 3-Nitrophenyl isocyanate is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of other compounds. The reaction time varies depending on the reactant and conditions. 3-Nitrophenyl isocyanate interacts with a carbonyl group or nitro group to produce an alkylsulfonyl compound, which can be used for microscopy and phosphorylation reactions.
