Product Information
- 1,5-Diazanaphthalene
- 1,5-Pyridopyridine
- NSC 87514
1,5-Naphthyridine is a dihedral, asymmetric molecule that has an NMR spectrum with two resonances. It exists in the form of a coordination complex and has an alkylthio group. 1,5-Naphthyridine reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce hydrogen gas and a uv absorption band at 300 nm. It is also photolabile when exposed to uv light. The nitrogen atoms are involved in cross-coupling reactions and the autoimmune diseases binding activities. 1,5-Naphthyridine binds to plasma proteins and has been shown to have low energy electron affinities.
