Brand:Biosynth
Description:1-Naphthylamine is a trifluoroacetic acid derivative that can be used as a fluorescence probe. It is used to detect malonic acid in the presence of hydrogen bonding interactions with sodium carbonate and nitrite ion. Reaction solution is added to a physiological level of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and it reacts with 1-naphthylamine, which fluoresces when irradiated by light. This compound has been shown to have an effect on infectious diseases in humans, such as malaria, where it may inhibit the growth of Plasmodium falciparum, the causative agent of malaria.
