Description:
6-Nitroindazole is an antibacterial agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to bacterial DNA and blocking DNA synthesis. 6-Nitroindazole has been shown to induce tumor cell apoptosis in mouse cancer models. This drug also has anti-inflammatory properties, as it inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase activity.
