Product Information
Name:3-Nitroaniline
Brand:Biosynth
Description:3-Nitroaniline is a diazonium salt that is used in wastewater treatment. The optimum concentration of 3-nitroaniline is determined by the x-ray diffraction data, kinetic data and molecular modeling. For synchronous fluorescence, the reaction can be monitored using thermal expansion measurements to determine when the reaction has reached its equilibrium state. Nitro groups on 3-nitroaniline have genotoxic activity and are mutagenic in model systems. Hydrochloric acid reacts with 3-nitroaniline to form hydrogen chloride and nitrite anion, which then react with water to form nitric acid. Nitric acid then reacts with 3-nitroaniline to form nitrate anion, which can be detected with fluorescence spectrometry. Sample preparation involves diluting 3-nitroaniline in hydrochloric acid and then adding hydrogen peroxide solution until a pink colour develops.
