Description:

Na-Z-L-histidine methyl ester is a solvent that is used in the synthesis of peptides. It is a low water, hydrophobic, and thermodynamically stable liquid that is soluble in dimethylformamide. Na-Z-L-histidine methyl ester is also an amide with a trifluoroacetic acid group and can be used to synthesize solid phase peptides. The compound has been shown to have thyrotropin releasing effects on rats when administered intravenously.
