Description:

1-Nitro-1H-pyrazole is a potential drug for the treatment of macular degeneration. It inhibits the production of nitric oxide and has shown to protect against cell death in cell cultures. This drug also has potent anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to reduce lacrimal gland inflammation. 1-Nitro-1H-pyrazole binds to nitric oxide synthase, which is found in the lacrimal gland, and prevents the conversion of L-arginine into L-citrulline, which produces nitric oxide. 1NITRP is a molecule that belongs to the class of pyrazole derivatives and has been studied extensively as a potential drug for use in treating age-related macular degeneration. The vibrational spectroscopy data show that there are two possible modes that are responsible for its binding activity. The functional theory suggests that one mode corresponds to an allosteric inhibitor and the other mode corresponds to an agon
