Description:2-Amino-3-benzoylbenzeneacetamide is an ophthalmic drug that has significant cytotoxicity. It is used to treat inflammation of the retina and macula, as well as other diseases of the eye such as uveitis. 2-Amino-3-benzoylbenzeneacetamide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by blocking cyclooxygenase. This agent has been shown to be effective in reducing pain and inflammation in animal models, but there are no studies on its side effects or analytical methods for detection. There are also no studies on the effectiveness of this drug for treating uveitis.
