Description:
10,12-Nonacosadiynoic acid is a silicon-containing molecule that can be used to modify the surface of metal and semiconductors. 10,12-Nonacosadiynoic acid has been shown to adsorb onto the surface of boron nitride and polymerize under light exposure to form a monolayer. The photoelectrochemical properties of this molecule have been studied using an electrochemical microscope. It has also been shown to be able to polymerize in the presence of dihexadecyl phosphate and form a polymer film.
