Description

Narcissin is a natural compound that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. It has been shown to have synergistic effects with other drugs, such as antibiotics. Narcissin also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat hepatic steatosis. This compound can inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species in vitro and in vivo, which may be due to its antioxidative properties. Narcissin has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the activity of enzymes related to metabolic disorders, including p-hydroxybenzoic acid and 3-o-caffeoylquinic acid.
