Product Information
- Hydroxylamine, O-(4-nitrobenzoyl)-
O-(4-Nitrobenzoyl)hydroxylamine is an organic compound that is used in the synthesis of triazine derivatives with asymmetric carbon atoms. It has been shown to be a potent antagonist against amines and amides, and it has also been used as a synthetic intermediate for the production of other compounds. O-(4-Nitrobenzoyl)hydroxylamine can be synthesized through the radical chain reaction of nitrous acid and hydroxylamine. This reaction is able to produce a tetradentate molecule that contains sulfinyl groups. The O-(4-Nitrobenzoyl)hydroxylamine molecule is nonbasic because it does not contain any acidic hydrogen atoms.
