Description:

Obenoxazine is a fluorescence probe that binds to pro-apoptotic proteins, such as Bax and Bak. It has been shown to decrease neuronal death in an experimental model of Parkinson's disease. Obenoxazine has also been shown to have anti-diabetic and anxiolytic properties in animal models, as well as hypoglycemic effects in humans. Obenoxazine is also able to bind with basic proteins and effector proteins, which may explain its anti-inflammatory effects.
