Description:Oxalyl chloride is an organic compound that inhibits enzymes whose active site contains a carbonyl group. Oxalyl chloride reacts with diethyl ketomalonate to form oxalyl diethyl ketomalonate, which then undergoes a chemiluminescent reaction with malonic acid.
