Oroxin B is a natural product that belongs to the class of oroxylum indicum and acetate extract. It has been shown to have the ability to inhibit hemolytic activity in vitro and in vivo, as well as possess anti-inflammatory properties. Oroxin B has also been shown to have an effect on growth factor production, which may lead to its potential use in cancer treatment. The chemical structure of Oroxin B was found by LC-MS/MS analysis with a method consisting of preparative HPLC, titration calorimetry, analytical chemistry, and cell culture. This molecule is composed of baicalein-7-o-glucoside, which is the main active ingredient found in Oroxin A and Oroxin B.
