Protein Kinase C (PKC) is a family of serine/threonine kinases that are activated by diacylglycerol lipids. PKC (19-31) is a protein that is encoded by the PKC gene and has the amino acid sequence:
Glu-Lys-Asp-Ser-Arg-Thr-Lys-Leu
Protein Kinase C (19-31) is a basic protein consisting of 205 amino acids. It has been shown to have biochemical properties such as phosphorylation, ubiquitin ligase activity, and myristoylation. Protein Kinase C (19-31) can be used as an inhibitor of Pgp in vitro.
