Product Information
- 2H-Pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine
- 6-Aza-2H-indazole
3H-Pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine is a potential ATP binding site inhibitor that inhibits the activity of PIM-1 kinase. PIM-1 kinase is an enzyme that regulates cell growth and survival. It is involved in DNA damage repair, proliferation, and programmed cell death. 3H-Pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine binds to the ATP binding site of PIM-1 kinase with high affinity and specificity, which may lead to inhibition of tumor growth. This compound has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. 3H-Pyrazolo[3,4-c]pyridine has a number of substitutions on its isoform that can be optimized for future studies.
