Pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine is a potential anticancer agent that inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA by binding to the pyridinium group on the 30S ribosomal subunit. Pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine also binds to oxytocin receptors and may be used as a pharmacological agent for female infertility treatment.
