Description

PEG 400 is a non-ionic surfactant used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in pharmaceutical preparations. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cervical cancer cells, and may be useful for the prevention or treatment of choroidal neovascularization. PEG 400 also has lubricity properties, which make it useful in the treatment of inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases. The optimum concentration of PEG 400 is 0.2%.
