Description:Polyamide is a polymer that is resistant to hydrogen gas. Polyamide has been shown to be high in resistance to intramolecular reactions and can be used as a reaction solution. Polyamide has also been shown to have excellent optical properties and can be used as an optical sensor for structural analysis. The reaction mechanism of polyamide is not well understood, but it has been proposed that the intramolecular hydrogen bonds are broken by the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst. Polyamide is thermally stable and does not absorb water vapor or water, which makes it suitable for use in balloon injury studies. It also has good biocompatibility and has been shown to inhibit prostate cancer cells growth when implanted into mice.
