Product Information

Name:
Pyren-1-ylmethanamine,hydrochloride
Synonyms:
  • 1-Pyrenemethylamine, hydrochloride (1-aminomethylpyrene, hydrochloride)
  • 1-(Pyren-1-Yl)Methanamine Hydrochloride (1:1)
Description:

Pyren-1-ylmethanamine,hydrochloride is a fluorescent derivative of pyrene with a site specific reaction mechanism. It reacts with fatty acids to form fluorescent products that are detected by fluorescence detector. Pyren-1-ylmethanamine,hydrochloride has a minimal toxicity and chemical stability and can be used for the quantification of fatty acids in mice tumor tissue. The detection time is short and the intermolecular hydrogen bonding between pyren-1-ylmethanamine,hydrochloride and fatty acid is homotropic cooperativity.
