It has been shown that PEG methyl ether can be used as a polymeric matrix for the delivery of protein-based drugs and other biomolecules. The surface properties, conjugation reactions, and growth kinetics of cells cultured with PEG methyl ether have also been studied using microscopy and mass spectrometry.
