Description:

Poly(ethylene glycol) diglycidyl ether, Mn~500 is a polymeric material used for wastewater treatment. It is produced by the polymerization of ethylene oxide and glycidol. This product has been shown to be stable in basic conditions and to have high chemical stability. Poly(ethylene glycol) diglycidyl ether, Mn~500 has been shown to adsorb dyes from aqueous solutions using Langmuir adsorption isotherm and flow assay techniques. The polymers are also able to act as a template for the synthesis of DNA molecules with monoclonal antibodies.
