Poly(propylene carbonate) has a high degree of crystallinity and these crystals are composed mainly of hydrogen bonds. This polymer also has a high degree of viscosity and melting point, which decreases with increasing chlorine atom content. Poly(propylene carbonate) has a low solubility in water and does not dissolve in common organic solvents.
