• Description: Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is a type of phospholipid that contains choline, a molecule that is essential for the synthesis of cell membrane. The phase transition temperature of PC is around 40°C and it only has minimal concentration in the body. PC plays an important role in the influenza virus by acting as a model protein.
