Description

5b-Pregnan-3a-ol-20-one is a natural product that belongs to the group of steroids. It has been shown to inhibit the polymerase chain reaction in animals. The drug also inhibits pain and has been shown to be effective in models of epilepsy. 5b-Pregnan-3a-ol-20-one binds to DNA, preventing transcription and replication.
