Description:Polyamide is a synthetic polymer that contains amide bonds. It is characterized by high water vapor permeability, low water solubility, and good chemical stability. Polyamide has been shown to have growth factor-β1 activity in vitro and in vivo for the treatment of tubulointerstitial injury. Polyamide is also used as a template for the synthesis of DNA. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties and inhibit prostate cancer cells. The polyamide chain can be analyzed using monoclonal antibodies and structural analysis methods such as nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, or electron microscopy.
