The most common reaction product of Pigment Red 207 is its metal salt. The most common metal ion that reacts with this pigment is iron (III). Pigment Red 207 also contains amines, which are often used as thermal-expansion modifiers or polymerization initiators for polymers during manufacturing. This pigment can be mixed with deionized water and other colorants to create desired colors for paint products.
