Product Information
2-(2-phenylethynyl)aniline is a synthetic, efficient and selective method for the catalysis of hydrochloric acid. This reaction is catalyzed by palladium nanoparticles and can be used to synthesize mesoporous materials with terminal alkynes. The structural analysis of the compound was performed using X-ray crystallography, which revealed that the ligand is in an imine form. Nitrite ion was used as a fluorescent probe to identify the functional groups. Gold nanoparticles were used to catalyze the reaction and to reduce nitrite ions into nitric oxide.
