Description:
Perfluoromethyladamantane is a perfluorinated particle that has been shown to enhance bone growth. The particles are made of vinyl alcohol, which is an oxygenated chemical species and active substance. The particles also contain amines that are insoluble in water. Perfluoromethyladamantane has been shown to have an enhancement effect on proliferation activities of bone cells and, hence, may be used as a therapeutic agent for patients with osteoporosis.
