Description

Roridin A is a cyclic peptide that has been shown to induce apoptosis in human macrophages and HL-60 cells. It also inhibits the production of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) by human monocytes and lymphocytes, as well as inducing the differentiation of CD-1 mice. Roridin A binds to a death protein, which then activates caspases, leading to cell death. This compound can be used for diagnosis and treatment of cancer, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases.
