Description:Riboflavin 5'-phosphate sodium (RB5P) is a form of riboflavin that is used as a co-substrate for the synthesis of other riboflavin-containing compounds. RB5P is an important component in biochemical research, wastewater treatment, and neurodegenerative diseases. The monosodium salt has been shown to be a useful model system for studying the biochemical properties of riboflavin.
