Description:Roxarsone is a monosodium salt that is soluble in water. Roxarsone has the potential to be used as a biomarker for exposure to arsenic. Roxarsone also inhibits the growth of bacteria by interfering with DNA synthesis and plasma mass spectrometry. This drug may also induce toxicity in humans, although this is not well-studied.
