Description:
Rabdophyllin H is a naturally-occurring labiate diterpene. It has been used in China as a traditional herbal medicine to treat inflammation and fever. Rabdophyllin H has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF), by binding to specific receptors on the surface of cells and preventing the activation of their signaling pathways. This drug also inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells, thereby reducing inflammation.
