Succinyl-(Asp6,N-Me-Phe8)-Substance P (6-11) Suc-Asp-Phe-N-Me-Phe-Gly-Leu-Met-NH2 is a synthetic opioid peptide that binds to the κ receptor. It has been shown to have analgesic effects in animal models of chronic pain and inflammatory pain. The peptide has also been shown to have antiinflammatory activity in a rat model of adjuvant arthritis.
