Description:

Suc-Phe-pNA is a synthetic substrate that has been shown to be a proteolytic enzyme. It is used for the study of proteolytic enzymes and in pharmaceutical research because it can inhibit the activity of pancreatic enzymes such as trypsin or chymotrypsin. Suc-Phe-pNA has also been shown to have antiviral properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit viral proteases.
