Description

Sinapyl alcohol is a naturally occurring organic compound that is derived from the hydrolysis of sinapinic acid. It has been shown to have ATP-binding cassette transporter activity, which is a protein that transports various molecules across cell membranes. Sinapyl alcohol has also been found to inhibit the enzymatic conversion of p-hydroxybenzoic acid into benzoic acid and malonic acid. Sinapyl alcohol binds to the sephadex G-100 gel beads and may be a potential biomarker for cancer cells due to its high resistance against cancer cell viability. Sinapyl alcohol also shows transcriptional regulation of genes associated with biochemical properties, such as metabolic disorders, but further research is required to confirm these findings.
