Sodium cumene sulfonate also has many other uses, including providing skin care benefits and acting as an additive to detergents. When dissolved in water, it can be used as a photodecomposition agent for organic waste, such as n-oxide or amines. This polymer also has photoelectrochemical properties that allow it to transfer electrons from one electrode to another.
