Description

Sodium fluoride is a chemical that can be used to treat water and wastewater. It is an effective inhibitor of the growth of bacteria, fungi, and algae. The use of sodium fluoride improves the quality of drinking water by reducing levels of hydrogen ion and trihalomethanes (THMs).
