Description:Sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate is a model system used in polymerase chain reaction. It is a salt of sodium phosphate and dibasic acid. It is soluble in water, but it has a low bioavailability in vivo. Sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate is used as an analytical method to measure the amount of benzalkonium chloride present on the surface of particles. The linear calibration curve can be obtained with titration calorimetry and human serum. This salt can also be used to adjust the pH of solutions containing sodium citrate and HIV-infected cells.
