Description:

Sodium hydroxymethanesulfinate is a chemical compound that has a molecular formula of CHOS. It is an acidic, water-soluble compound with the chemical formula CHOS. It is an intermediate in the reaction between glycol ethers and sodium hydroxide to form sodium sulfate. The reaction mechanism for this process is the following:

CH2OCH2OH + NaOH → CH2ONa + H2O

The reaction solution consists of copper chloride, sodium carbonate, and hydroxyl group. The intramolecular hydrogen can be formed by adding anhydrous sodium, which will cause a thermodynamic change due to the formation of metal hydroxides and nitrogen atoms. This chemical has been shown to be stable without any problems with chemical stability.
