Sativan is a plant extract that belongs to the genus of isoflavones. It contains a number of different isoflavonoid compounds, including genistein, daidzein, and glycitein. Sativan has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against colorectal adenocarcinoma cells and other cancer cell lines in vitro. The mechanism of action for this activity may be related to its ability to bind to pd-l1 overexpressed on the surface of cancer cells. Sativan also possesses natural insecticidal properties and can be used as a natural pesticide.
