Description:

Tetrahydrodaidzein is an isoflavone. It has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as inhibitory effects on the growth of bacteria. Tetrahydrodaidzein can be obtained from soy protein through fermentation by lactic acid and bifidobacteria bacteria or by deglycosylation of daidzein. Tetrahydrodaidzein has also been shown to act as a natural product for the prevention of bacterial urinary tract infections.
