Product Information
2,3,5-Trimethylaniline (2,3,5-TMA) is an oxidized amine that has been shown to be carcinogenic in animals. It has a number of industrial uses including as a ligand for metal ions and as a surrogate for anilines. 2,3,5-TMA reacts with xylene to form alkylation products and also undergoes isomerization reactions. 2,3,5-TMA is selective for the oxidation of primary and secondary amines but is insensitive to tertiary amines.
