Description:Tazemetostat is an inhibitor that inhibits the activity of a number of enzymes, including transcriptional regulators, histone methyltransferases, and proteases. Tazemetostat has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity in cancer cells and potent antitumor activity against solid tumours in mice. It also has pluripotent-like effects on human embryonic stem cells and can induce differentiation of epithelial mesenchymal progenitor cells into cartilage. Tazemetostat appears to inhibit the transcriptional regulation of collagen synthesis by inhibition of the enzyme collagenase.
